Who are the Beal City Sports Boosters (BCSB)?

The Beal City Sports Boosters (BCSB) is made up of community members and parent volunteers who have an interest in supporting Beal City Public School athletes.  We support our athletes by funding the athletic trainer and freshmen sports (girls’ volleyball and boys’ basketball) as well as assisting with purchasing sports equipment and providing meals to teams during playoffs.

In order to do all of this, the Beal City Sports Boosters must raise in excess of $25,000 per school year.  The main source of this funding is the concession stand revenue, which means we must have the stands open as much as possible. We need adults and students (Jr High age or older), to volunteer their time to work in the concession stand. If you have a student athlete attending Beal City Public Schools, you have benefited from the Beal City Sports Boosters.  As a parent of an athlete, it is required that you work in the concession stand during the applicable sports season.  High School student volunteers may also earn Community Service Hours towards their required hours to graduate.

We encourage your participation in more than simply working the concession stand.  We invite you to attend our meetings that take place the third Sunday of every month at 6pm in the Media Center of the High School.  Watch for updates on the school event calendar, in the Aggies Newsletter, and follow us on Facebook by searching for "Beal City Sports Boosters".

Need a concession stand request form?

There are times when a sports program or non-sports group is interested in working the concession stand for a specific event to earn revenue.  In order for this to happen, the program/group must complete the Concession Stand Request Form and submit it to the BCSB President a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event.  If approved, the program/group is responsible for finding volunteers to work the concession stand the day of the event and will receive a percentage of the overall event revenue.
