My name is Rod Freeze and I am the Business Manager at Beal City Public Schools. I graduated from Beal City in 1987. I went to CMU for a couple years full time, then got married to my high school sweetheart Julie, a 1985 graduate of Beal City. We have two great kids Samantha and Nick. Samantha graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a major in accounting in December 2016 and has passed the CPA exam. Nick graduated from Beal City in 2018 and is attending CMU and plans to become a math teacher. Julie and I have been very active in the Beal City community since we graduated from Beal and I look forward to expanding my level of involvement. One of the activities I have been involved in is the Beal City Education Foundation. I have been on the board since it began in 2009 and we are making great strides in reaching the goals of the Foundation.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends doing things like; camping, fishing, hunting, playing cards. But what I really enjoy is watching the kids grow up and become responsible, respectful individuals. Nick is very active and loves playing his guitar and singing. Samantha enjoys hanging out with friends (and her parents) and taking trips whenever or wherever.
I believe Beal City was a great place to go to school for myself and it has also been a great place for our children to go to school. Beal City is a small school with huge opportunities for all. I look forward to many years of continuing the great traditions that are in place at Beal City and being involved in starting new ones. Go Aggies!
